It’s just over a month since the Gran Fondo Il Lombardia, the event that closed the sportive season of events organised by RCS Sport/RCS Active Team, and it’s already time to think about 2018, both for the organisers and the riders.

The next target date is Sunday 4th March for the third edition of the Gran Fondo Strade Bianche, to be held in Terre di Siena, starting and finishing in Siena. The course running through the Tuscan hills features eight gravel sectors, the very same that the pros will face on the previous day.

Registrations opened on 3rd November and almost 4000 cyclists are already in. This event will be run on a capped number to guarantee the safety of all participants.
