The Gran Fondo Strade Bianche Enel Green Power put an end to three days of great cycling in and around Siena on the occasion of the Strade Bianche.

After the successes of Thomas Pidcock and Demi Vollering, 6,500 amateurs turned up this morning at the start of the Gran Fondo Strade Bianche Enel Green Power to revive the emotions of the pro races. This event has no equivalent in the world, considering its breath-taking landscapes and the echoes of the victories of the great cycling champions.

The excited faces this morning at the start from the Medici Fortress, the smiles and the raised arms at the finish in Piazza del Campo testify how the Gran Fondo Strade Bianche Enel Green Power has now established itself as one of the favourite amateur events in Italy as well as in the whole world. This is confirmed by the great numbers of this edition with over 30% of subscribers coming from abroad.
